An afternoon of presentations, workshops and discussion around building meaningful bridges between humans and technology; from more creative and humanized ways of visualizing and representing IoT data to the search for more intuitive and enjoyable urban applications. Featuring international speakers Juanita Devis (MIT Media Lab) who will share insights from her work integrating human emotion and perception with urban data visualization, Valerio Panzica (Imec) will talk about his sensor work with the City of Things program and Pelin Gultekin (TUe) will talk about her experience designing with stakeholders and the role of Design Research in developing more meaningful innovations. Experts Niels Wiersma and Ran Haase will present and discuss the City of Eindhoven's IoT Charter and relevant (Open) data policy developments.
